A music studio is often a place with masses of equipment but not a great deal of soul. When Manata opened a second studio we were asked to cover the acoustic modules to provide warmth and atmosphere to the room.  Using three contrasting but complimentary fabrics and sourcing sofas and chairs we did just that – eliciting comments to the effect that it was just like a sitting room – a place where musicians could feel comfortable and creative.
